RUINART BLANC DE BLANCS NV

This blend of Premier Crus of the Cote de Blanc has always been a favourite of the Elegant Lady. Not only because of the beauty of its bottle but also because of its Suave and Delicate warm fruity flavours. An open, expressive nose full of honeyed wood and burnt cinder toffee,very appealing. A little residual sulphur still there. An appealing fresh style on the palate, also bedevilled by sulphur, but there is a fine structure underneath it all, and a precise composition. Firm dry backbone. A great presence and it certainly bodes well for the future. Great with Scallops and Black Pudding.
