HENRI GIRAUD "ESPRIT" BRUT NV
Maybe not their "Tete de Cuvee" but Giraud made sure you will enjoy this Champagne as much as their "Fut de Chene". Colour is a light pale green with fine bubbles, nervous and flowing gently. Nose is rich, yeasty, slightly buttery and smoky. Touches of nuts, almonds, vanilla and citrus such as grapefruit are on display. The mouth is round, medium body with generous alcohol level, light freshness and a long finish. Caviar would be favourite with this exceptional champagne but Foie Gras would also suit very well "Esprit"
